RAM Maximizer is software that is used to free up wasted RAM and to join these small blocks of memory into larger contiguous blocks of memory thus increasing the speed and stability of your computer. What is memory (RAM) fragmentation? Windows programs use RAM (Random Access Memory) for any number of operations, Allocating small blocks of memory and releasing it. Sometimes a program will fail to release the RAM after it is used. Sometimes an Application or Service may freeze and not release any of the memory blocks allocated to them back to the memory pool.

This continuing process breaks the RAM into a series of small noncontiguous blocks. While the sum of these small blocks is being reported by Windows as available, can not be used by new applications being launched, because these newly launched programs are requesting larger blocks. These blocks are then supplied by Windows from the paging file. Also, programs that are running run less efficiently, may crash when the memory blocks allocated are in this state of fragmentation. When a number of these programs or services are running all at once, the entire system efficiency will suffer.

The process of freeing blocked-in unused (wasted) memory (RAM) and joining together small random blocks of memory is called memory (RAM) defragmentation. RAM Maximizer uses several algorithms to join these small blocks of RAM back together and increase the speed and stability of your computer!
